On March 20, 2014, Thursday, at 6:30 in the evening, Cignal Digital TV and Colours will host a gala dinner entitled "Feast of Colours" at the Grand Ballroom, Sofitel Philippine Plaza. The dinner is for the benefit of Philipine Disaster Recovery Foundation (PDRF), the country’s primary private sector vehicle in disaster management, which is currently working on the needs of victims of the calamities that recently beset the country.
The Guest of Honor at this year's event will be Chef Geoffrey Zakarian who is best known as the winner of The Next Iron Chef Season 4. Chef Zakarian is the executive chef and owner of several celebrated and multi-awarded restaurants in New York City, Atlantic City and Miami. He is also the author of theTown/Country: 150 Recipes for Life Around the Table, which was described by the New York Times as “…one of the best of the year (2006)”. For just one night, Chef Zakarian will take control of the grand ballroom of Sofitel in a mouth-watering five-course dinner.
Dinner guests will also be treated to world-class Filipino entertainment from Isay Alvarez, Robert Sena and the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra.
